About UEF Placements
The Qwickly Attendance UEF Placement allows a launch link to be placed in the course details navigation in Blackboard Ultra courses. See below.
The Qwickly Attendance UEF Check in banner in course allows students to see when a check-in is active within a course, and in cases where a 4-digit PIN or no authentication is required, check-in directly in the course. See below.
Enabling UEF Placements
To enable the UEF placements, first update the Qwickly LTI tool providers integration to ensure that the pre-created UEF placements have been automatically added. This step will not affect any existing placements.
- Go to System Admin > Integrations: LTI Tool Providers
- Click on Register LTI 1.3/Advantage Tool
- Enter the client ID: d6a70d8e-a807-4309-a423-ff64d894c0f8
- The tool status page will populate. Click Submit to create the LTI tool provider integration
Once the pre-created UEF placement is added to the tool provider configuration, you may enable the UEF placement in Qwickly Attendance admin settings.

From the Qwickly Dashboard (qwickly.tools), select the client you wish to add the UEF integration to.
- Click on Manage Attendance in the instance card for your Blackboard instance.
- Navigate to Settings > Preferences

Under UEF Integration, choose one or both of the following:
- Enable the checkbox next to "Enable UEF Attendance launch link in course" and provide a label for the Attendance link to be displayed to end users within Blackboard courses. If no label is provided, it will default to “Qwickly Attendance”.

Enable the checkbox next to "Enable Check in banner in course" to allow students to see a banner in a Blackboard Ultra course and check in from it, under the appropriate conditions.
- Enable the checkbox next to "Enable UEF Attendance launch link in course" and provide a label for the Attendance link to be displayed to end users within Blackboard courses. If no label is provided, it will default to “Qwickly Attendance”.

Click Save Settings.
