Qwickly Attendance will recalculate student's totals (points, absences, attended percentages) in a course each time attendance is taken. In rare circumstances, the student totals may not be accurately reflecting the attendance data seen in the Records table.
Scenario 1: Attendance data may have been added to Scheduled sessions
If Instructors have gone into the "Records" screen to directly add records into a scheduled session without taking attendance through the "Attendance" screen, the records will not be accounted for in a student's absence, percentage, or grade totals.
This article explains how to resolve this issue.
Scenario 2: The Attendance tool may have come across an error during the recalculation process
This happens vary rarely and in this scenario, the user can trigger a recalculation of attendance by adding the query string ?recalculate=true to the URL and pressing enter to relaunch the page.
This needs to be done only once and will result in the tool recalculating user totals and refreshing the records page with the updated user totals.
