Note: This is only available with a license of Qwickly Attendance Pro
Some institutions that utilize Qwickly Attendance Pro may need to report on specific groupings of Courses or Students. Qwickly Attendance Pro allows an admin to create course groupings or student groupings so that such reports can be generated.
To view current groupings or add new groupings, the admin can navigate to their Instance's Qwickly Attendance Pro Index >Manage > Course Groups or Student Groups
HOW TO CREATE GROUPINGS
1. Student Grouping
NOTE: Before you can use Student Grouping, you will have to enable the setting "Cache Student Data with Qwickly" in your Instance's Attendance Settings. More information on this setting here.
The student grouping page allows an admin to create multiple groupings of students.
- A new group can be created by clicking on the "Add New Group" and assigning a name to your group. Additionally, a description can be added to the group as well.
- All available groupings can be selected from the dropdown at the top-right of the left panel of the page labeled "Select Grouping"
- The Left Panel shows the available users in the currently selected group. Users can be removed by clicking the red button. The right panel allows the admin to look up students by various parameters, and filtered students can be added to the currently selected groups by clicking on the green button
- Alternatively, Student Groupings can be made in bulk by following this file upload process
- Finally, groups can be edited and deleted as well
2. Course Grouping
The course grouping page allows an admin to create multiple groupings of courses.
- A new group can be created by clicking on the "Add New Group" and assigning a name to your group. Additionally, a description can be added to the group as well.
- All available groupings can be selected from the dropdown at the top-right of the left panel of the page labeled "Select Grouping"

HOW TO USE GROUPINGS
Once student groupings or course groupings are made, there will be new options in the Student Reporting or Course reporting pages.
Student Reporting > Student Groups
Course Reporting > Course Groups
Furthermore, Student Reporting > Attending Trends allows lookups of both types of groups
