Creating a Qwickly Jot Assignment

Qwickly Jot allows students to write on diagrams, charts, maps, and more inside the Learning Management System. 

Canvas: 

Navigate to the assignments tab and add an assignment.

Towards the middle of the page, there is a section to select the submission type. Select "External Tool"

Select "Find," and make sure "Load This Tool In A New Tab" is selected.

Scroll through the list until you find "Qwickly Jot," select it.

You can then finish creating you assignment and save it. You then can choose the file you would like your students to be able to draw on. You can either upload it from your computer or drag and drop it into the box.

The student will then be able to draw on the image you provide and submit their work.

Blackboard: 

Under the build content tab, select Qwickly Jot. Fill out the assignment information and submit.

When you submit, the assignment will show up on your content page. Click the assignment to configure Qwickly Jot.

You can then finish creating you assignment and save it. You then can choose the file you would like your students to be able to draw on. You can either upload it from your computer or drag and drop it into the box. You can also modify the assignment settings.

The student will see two links on the content page. The top will go to the Qwickly Jot application where they can access the assignment. The bottom link goes to the blackboard assignment page.
