Qwickly Attendance loads student enrollments for each courses through the LMS utilizing REST APIs. For courses that have over 100 users, this process may sometimes take some time and cause the tool to time out initially.
In these cases, Qwickly first suggests turning on Student data caching. Once this setting is enabled, Qwickly Attendance should show the following message to all courses that have more than 100 enrollments before they initially set up their course:
When "Load Enrollments" is clicked, Qwickly Attendance begins a background process which starts to pre-load the user information for these large courses so that subsequent launches happen quicker. Since this process may take some time, it is suggested that instructors wait a few minutes after clicking "Load Enrollments" before they begin the course setup.
